    Tips for checking tire pressure

Update: So later that same day I drove for about 30 min on the Freeway and the pressure light reset and went out and has not come back on since. Still think there should be a way we can reset it without having to drive for a long period of time. So far so good no more false alerts.

    Tips for checking tire pressure

It could be but this was the first time it did that and it immediately went back to normal. I was just hoping I could manually reset the sensor trip and go about my business. If it keeps tripping I would take it in to get it fixed but I may have to anyways if I can't reset the warning. I...

    Tips for checking tire pressure

Ok curious if anyone knows how to reset a false alert with tpsm? I was driving today and it alerted me and moved to the tpsm screen on dash right rear tire at 12 psi, then it went back to about 35 psi, pulled over and checked with a manual guage 35 psi. Got in it shows the same but tpsm warning...

How many times have you been pulled over since owning the Stinger?

Lucky! Did she get your number? The fire stations here all have police hanging around them out here in Gilbert so I imagine its the same in other parts of the valley.

    Dashcam fitment

I installed one but posted it in the Radar detector DIY posting but same principles apply to wiring and hiding it just with a dash cam. I posted some pictures of what I did and you can see others as well...

Stop Start Issue when Auto Hold is engaged

I think that is exactly it. When I'm at a light with the auto hold on and engine off, I see the light change a few cars a head then I just lightly tap the accelerator which turns the engine on but keeps the auto hold break engaged and then when I'm ready to go then I push on the accelerator...

    Black Chrome Pieces

When I waxed the car I went over the mirrors with the wax to see if it helps, it seems to still get spotting but a detailers spray and it comes right out looking good so I think having some protection on that helps, but the detailers spray seems to work pretty good.

Who's received their free Harman Kardon Soho headphones?

I just got my headphones today but I thought they were only for the 2018 year cars so I wasn't expected to get anything, I bought a 2019 GT2 December 30th. [coolsmile][coolsmile][coolsmile]

How many times have you been pulled over since owning the Stinger?

None for me but only 1600 miles and just over a month since I bought the car. Plus hard to speed in rush hour. [scratch]

Thanks, I see what you are saying about the bracket, I will tighten it up again real good and add another one on like you did. Extra insurance and just be sure to check and tighten it up every time I empty the can as needed. I'm curious how much this will fill up. I don't drive all that hard...

Yeah I was more worried removing the hose than tightening it, had a much better angle but it didn't break and has a good seal. I did use Teflon tape and screwed those into the can tight so I think I'm all set. It is strange the sizes are so different though if it's one hose connecting them not...

Ok I think I got it.. Turned car on, no noises coming from any of the hoses, took dip stick out has a nice suction going on in there, so I think I'm good now. Thanks again for all the help. I think I was overthinking the complexity of this. Only thing I did do was lose a little hex...

Ok I got the clip off the top the hose is off on the front but in the back that thing is stuck on pretty good got the hose clip off but the hose is still in pretty deep, do you just yank on that until it comes off? Compared to the other side it was easy slid right off this one seems to have...

Thanks again for the info, still waiting for the kit but I took a look at the connections. What's the easiest way to get to that back clamp to get it off, It looks like there is some electrical plugs and things in the way. Did you disconnect those or just try to find someway to work around...

Thanks for the Info, It is supposed to come this weekend so I may take a crack at it, the more I'm looking on here the easier and the more comfortable I think it is for me to do this mod. If not I'll def let you know since we are close and I appreciate the offer. It looks like the kit comes...

    Catch Can Thread

Thanks yes, I should get my kit this weekend and I found a mechanic shop that will install but I may see about ordering the right sized tubes for the job if I get the wrong size. I'll wait to see what they send as maybe they sent the wrong tubes out on yours perhaps but if not I can order...

    Catch Can Thread

Looks good I'm thinking about getting this one too. Do you know what size hoses you used to make it all work the parts etc? I may get a local mechanic to install mine so maybe they will have all that stuff to do it. Def don't want a loose connection though. Is it hard to get back behind...

    Catch Can Thread

Did you know your mechanic from before or can you solicit any repair shop to install this if you provide the kit? I want to do this but I'm not a gearhead and messing with any hoses or anything in an engine freaks me out but I see the need for this mod with the GDI engine and certainly don't...

Chamois or Microfiber for drying your Stinger?

I use the Quick Drying Squeegee on the windows right after the rinse then I use the Clean Tools 45149 Absorber for most of the car then I do another pass with Meguiars X2000 water magnet weave microfiber towels. Then just a microfiber cloth with a quick detailer to get rid of spots on the...
