    Catch Can Thread

Thanks for that info, however I respectfully disagree about "not what it's for". I get everything else you say, and agree, however a more significant source of crankcase pressure than blow-by is boost leaking back through your PCV valve back into the crankcase, where it has nowhere else to go...

    Catch Can Thread

After having the Tork cans installed for about 8000km, I found zero fluid in the front one, despite having pulled 6 or so ounces total out of the rear one. I have the drain valves on them and use my Blackstone labs oil sample vacuum pump to pull fluid out in place. My observation is that if you...

Kia Stinger front and side vents air flow

Funny you should ask. Just today I inspected it out of curiosity. It looks exactly the same as the day I put it in. It hasn't moved or shown any other damage!

    Shifting into Manual Mode

You may like the Genesis G70 better. A bit smaller, firmer... Same powertrains, though, however you can get a RWD manual transmission 2.0T version with a LSD and sport exhaust. Lighter weight car too. If you want a manual trans car, just do yourself a favor and buy one while you still can. If...

Kia Stinger front and side vents air flow

No, but it'll probably work [emoji846]. I meant something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01L8GHB7O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_n5g-AbPXMRJ4T

    Shifting into Manual Mode

My build date is 11/17, by the way. On the semi off topic of updates, it's striking to me how much updating of things they do over the air through the built in cellular data connection. So far, I've noticed an update to the iPod control logic for how random shuffle is handled between ignition...

    Adaptive Suspension System

Yeah, I feel like eco mode is different than comfort for the suspension but can't put my finger in how exactly...

Kia Stinger front and side vents air flow

Yup, exactly. Super easy. Posted about it here: https://www.kiastinger.org/forum/showthread.php?p=17879 Essentially, you just remove the pop clips, bpull back the liner a bit, insert a piece of screen with holes cut for the clips, shove the liner back, reinstall clips, done. Takes maybe 5 min...

Kia Stinger front and side vents air flow

I installed some heavy pet resistant screen in mine.

    Shifting into Manual Mode

Wow. Yeah mine does not do that. That's how it behaves in comfort mode, for me. I wonder if this is a 2017 vs 2018 thing or a regional shift program difference.

    Shifting into Manual Mode

It's a Canadian GT Limited, which is equivalent to an American GT2 plus more interior equipment and features. 3.3T engine. Importantly, it has the electronic console shifter and paddle shifters. Don't all Stingers have paddle shifters? I'll get the build date off the door sill later today.

    Shifting into Manual Mode

I drove all the way to work and home today in manual mode and the car never once shifted to D on its own other than when stopping. Light part throttle in 3rd and 4th around 2000 - 3000 rpm all day long with no change of gear or reversion to D. I don't have an explanation for it, but this is my...

    Shifting into Manual Mode

Well hey...maybe I am crazy and mine is like that too and I've convinced myself otherwise. Maybe some day there will be a tuning option that changes the behavior to the way you like.

    Shifting into Manual Mode

Ok, 2 things. Yes I am 'listening', I just don't agree with the premise of your point. Here are two reasons why: 1. In my car, if I click a paddle in sport mode, it ONLY goes back to "D" under 1 of 2 circumstances: I come to a full stop, or I take it out myself by changing drive mode, holding...

    Shifting into Manual Mode

So.. you are complaining that if you want true manual mode, that you have to put the transmission in sport mode first? I've never heard of a car that doesn't require something similar. Simple solution to that. Sell it and buy a car that behaves the way you want. Sounds like you want something...

    Shifting into Manual Mode

Sorry, but that's literally the point of the different modes: to behave differently. It's perfectly logical. The 2007 Infiniti G35x sedan I had behaved exactly the same.

    Shifting into Manual Mode

That sounds strange. For me, if the transmission is in sport mode then it stays in manual mode once you hit a paddle unless you come to a stop. From a stop, if you hit up, it will launch in 2nd gear and if you hit down it'll go into 1. 100% of the time it behaves the same. You are sure you...

Differences between AWD Eco, Comfort, and Sport modes

Yeah... The concept of a snow mode is more or less the reason for my original question. I've been using custom mode and experimenting with the three AWD settings and Sport is definitely not ideal in snow/ice. Comfort seems best. The car is very good in snow. Don't get me wrong. Previously I had...

Differences between AWD Eco, Comfort, and Sport modes

There is no button. It's a knob that you turn, so don't think this is the case. There is no mention of ansnie mode in the manual in the parts about winter driving.

Differences between AWD Eco, Comfort, and Sport modes

What do you mean until there is slippage? There is always slippage in the snow when driving a 365 HP car. It definitely matters a lot.
