It sounds and feels like other open element intakes. It's quiet when you need it to be and let's you hear the turbo and blow off when wide open. I'm running the JB4 on map 3 using e30 fuel, so it was more noticeable of a power difference than a stock car might see. I'm really pleased with it overall.

That's a good looking intake, make sense to use the lower half of the stock intake to funnel in cooler air.

I went with the black strut braces. Only thing I had to change with this setup was to remove my driver side catch can. The corner of the heat shield is right where it was mounted.

Normal street driving I can't tell a difference. I haven't been on an autocross or road course to test them, but I doubt it would be noticeable.

Either way it adds a nice touch to dressing up the engine bay.
