California Car Duster, who uses it on their Stinger?

I do and I love it. I live in central Texas, so dust is a way of life. I use mine every morning and avoid having to wash three times a week. I absolutely recommend this product.

When and where is the TX meet?

Ford Mustang GT v Kia Stinger GT Drag Race

I?m thinking that if I weren?t running a chip, the race would have been closer. I still think I would have taken him. I have no idea what efficiency mode on a RaceChip adds, but there is a noticeable difference. The problem with racing Mustangs is that it?s super cheap to make them fast -...

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

I think this is a miscommunication.. We just need to re-gap our stock plugs to run 91 octane on map 6-7 or Race mode. RaceChip has stated that a couple times here and on another forum.

Ford Mustang GT v Kia Stinger GT Drag Race

Gotta love the RaceChip too.. I was running on the lowest setting (Efficiency). There's a huge difference between that mode and the top mode (Race). I feel like it would have been downright embarrassing for that Mustang driver if I had been in a higher mode.

Ford Mustang GT v Kia Stinger GT Drag Race

Yes it does! The guy's face in the Mustang as I was pulling away from him was priceless. Afterward, he drove by and gave me a big thumbs up.

Ford Mustang GT v Kia Stinger GT Drag Race

On a pull from 65-110, I had him by a length and a half. I'm not a Mustang expert, but based on how quiet his exhaust was, He was bone stock.

Ford Mustang GT v Kia Stinger GT Drag Race

I can confirm that we can beat Mustang GTs (at least 2017 and earlier models) from a roll as well. Just had a little fun on my lunch break. It was not a close race. EDIT: I was running a RaceChip on efficiency mode at the time - Probably relevant information.

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

+ 1.. This is how I understand it as well.

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

RaceChip can chime in, but I'm under the impression that our plugs need to be re-gapped regardless of the type of fuel that we have available or the map we are running. It's been stated here and on other forums that our gap of .36 is too large for a boosted car, period. Even with normal use...

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

I haven't, but it's definitely on the short term to-do list. I will definitely post some time slips when I do. I only recently learned about that place. I think they require a helmet, and I only have one for my motorcycle.

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

Running a business is hard. I appreciate you making an effort to clear things up. And for the record, my vehicle runs great with the racechip (on 93 octane). My next question.. Any idea how much HP/TQ effeciency mode adds? I have spent significant time in that mode because I feel like it's...

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

If that truly is the case, I apologize for calling you a retard. I believe that I was one of the early purchasers of the RaceChip, and at the time that I went onto their website, it was stated there that race mode was for 93-98 octane only. I assumed that it had always been there. I purchased...

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

Thank you for the update. I can't imagine how pissed you are at the retard on the other forum who claimed to have issues running on sport mode, only to find out that he was running 91 octane on race mode. It's amazing how much bad press one piece of misinformation can cause. #fakenews

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

Those are incredible numbers by the way.. converting NM to lb/ft they're pushing 533 lb/ft of torque in addition to that 444hp.. This is the reason why it's worth it to me to bite the bullet and re-gap my plugs.

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

Ok.. MurlinatoR, is this post closer? I would assume that spark plugs in stock condition doesn't mean taking stock plugs out and re-gapping them. I believe it was on an entirely different forum where they stated that there was definitely no requirement to re-gap.

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

Actually, someone already dug it up for me - toward the bottom of page 15 of this thread.

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

I'm not personally upset with anyone, and as I've stated on several threads, I love the RaceChip. I believe that the complaint is that RaceChip specifically stated that those who purchased their product would not have to re-gap plugs, and are now changing that recommendation. I want to be...

    RaceChip USA Kia Stinger Tuning

I think you're partially right.. I have heard of the problem occurring without the chip, but at a much lower percentage of vehicles than those who purchased a chip. That said, RaceChip originally stated that there are zero modifications required, and are now changing their recommendation...
