Hmmm. Many parts will be resuable, but the front body & suspension damage, side sill damage plus that rear quarter section adds up to a very expensive repair.

That was hard to look at. Lots of great parts can be reused from it though.

Eh, I'm not so sad. The owner can go out and buy a brand new one to replace it.

I got my Stinger because I went to a track day in my Chevy SS and it was raining. I hit a puddle on the straight, spun out, and sideswiped the wall going backwards. The floorpan was slightly bent on the far left side and GM doesn't sell the part, so it had to be totaled. I had a 2017 manual, one of the very last RWD manual sedans that will ever be produced. The last new manual had been sold over 6 months before I totaled mine. I looked for another manual on the used market, but most of them were ridiculously overpriced, too far away, and/or a color I didn't want, so I ended up with the Stinger.

I am enjoying the Stinger, and it is a better car in some ways than the SS, but I will miss that car. :(
