First Time Genesis Owner 2019 G90 Ultimate 5.0 HTRAC

First time Genesis owner. Only had the car for a few days, still learning all the functions. Love the car so far but have questions:

1. Does this car support Apple Car Play? I don’t see an option for it and I am baffled how a 2019 top of the line luxury sedan would not support Apple Car Play? Please tell me I am wrong 😳😳😳 If not, can the software be updated to support it?

2. I think the Infotainment System for the rear seats with the dual screens will not Bluetooth sync with a smartphone? Is that correct? I want my kids to be able to play content from their smartphones on the rear displays. I believe I read where they only support DVD play from the DVD Player in the glove box? Surely that can’t be, correct?

I just purchased a 2019 as well. I spoke to tech support and there is no update to use Apple play. 😤

Apple Car Play wasn't available until the 2020 refresh.

Correct on the rear screens - they're virtually useless

Our 2021 G90 had engine failure with 27000 miles in Oct. 2023. We are still waiting on repairs and Genesis corporation refuses to compensate our losses. We are forced to seek legal action at this time as another 2021 g90 also had engine failure and this is documented by us at time of repair just in our immediate area
